The Wyoming State Treasurer acts as the state's head banker, chief investment officer, and custodian of public funds. The office is responsible for receiving and safeguarding state monies, investing billions of dollars to generate revenue, distributing funds to local governments, and returning unclaimed property.The State Treasurer serves a four-year term with no term limits. Annual salary is $125,000 plus some benefits.
