I support the implementation of special elections to fill General Assembly vacancies. While the Central Committee plays a vital role in party stewardship, the ultimate authority should rest with the voters. Our democratic process is strongest when the community has a direct voice in choosing their representatives. Special elections ensure accountability and transparency, preventing a "creaky floor" of leadership by allowing the residents of District 11A to decide their own future.

Why not serve? I believe we have an obligation to our neighbors to protect our present, preserve our past, and fortify our future. If we don’t do politics, politics will do us. I am running on a platform of Stewardship for 2046, focusing on a 20-year vision to ensure our political infrastructure is resilient. My goal is not just to hold a seat, but to do the "unseen work" of auditing engagement, protecting our seniors, and clearing a path for our youth. Our collective strength is the solid floor

I support special elections to fill vacancies because they address concerns about providing democratic legitimacy to the process. Constituents deserve a representative who has earned a direct mandate from voters. Elections offer more transparency than do appointments because they include direct public input, are statistically accountable, reduce the perception of insider deals. They are more equitable for underserved communities allowing them to gain a real voice in choosing who speaks for them.
An appointee must show commitment to democratic values, possess high integrity, have a record of listening to constituents, engage diverse communities, and uphold transparent accountable governance. They must show experience and readiness to legislate. They should demonstrate an understanding of state and local issues, can navigate the legislative process, is prepared to advocate effectively without a long learning curve, and reflect a district’s demographics, priorities, and lived experiences.
I want to serve on the Central Committee because it is often the first point of contact between residents and the political process. I want to help make that engagement more accessible, welcoming, and meaningful. I want to ensure that Party decisions about priorities are transparent and grounded in community input from residents who are often left. It is a direct way to strengthen grassroots democracy and ensure that our party reflects the voices, needs, and lived experiences of the residents.
An applicant should have a demonstrated record of ethical conduct, coalition building, and collaborating with diverse groups. They must show a readiness to legislate through negotiations, and engagement with issues that may not have been initially popular. Applicant must have a record of giving to the community, even when it is not convenient or in their best interest. They should share their knowledge about government processes with the community to help them become informed and engaged voters.

Yes. I support special elections because residents deserve a direct voice in choosing their representatives. While appointments may ensure continuity, elections strengthen transparency, accountability, and public trust in government.
I will prioritize proven community service, integrity, understanding of local issues, independence in decision-making, and readiness to lead immediately. The goal is selecting someone who represents the people, not political interests.
I want to strengthen the connection between the party and the community. My goal is to ensure decisions reflect residents’ voices, support strong grassroots candidates, and promote transparency, trust, and accountability.
By keeping the process transparent, seeking community input, and applying clear standards like service, integrity, and readiness. I will make decisions I can publicly explain and that reflect the best interests of the people.
