Elected positions should always be filled with elected people. If they are filled with appointed people it isn't an elected position. Yes, we should have special elections, however, special elections should be a one day event. However, a special election takes time so there is a place for a temporary appointment to ensure the interests of the district are represented.
Competence, Communication Skills, Political Savvy, Track Record, Perceived Desire to act in the best of all Marylanders, Familiarity with Rockville/Gaithersburg issues (LD17).
The previous LD17 chairman abandoned the district. I had to put together new list of volunteers and social media, precinct captains etc. from scratch. I would like to complete this effort and turn over a fully functioning legislative district organization to someone in 2030.
If you pick good people who want to make Montgomery County the crown jewel of the Potomac you can't go far wrong.

Serving on the Republican Central Committee would allow me to continue supporting our community, strengthening the party, and helping advance the principles we believe in.
I ensure that my appointment decisions serve the best interest of the community by carefully evaluating candidates based on their integrity, dedication, and commitment to public service. I prioritize individuals who share our community’s values, have a proven record of leadership, and are willing to actively engage in initiatives that benefit the public. I also consider how their skills, experience, and vision will strengthen our organization and contribute to the long-term well-being of the com
