Current served as Shelby County Register of Deeds with 37 plus years as human resource professional retired from FedEx Corporation. Have worked on behalf of this community for more than two decades i.e. County Commissioner, Memphis Charter Commission, Memphis City School Board. Board Member, Downtown Commission; Chairman, St. Jude Sunday of Hope
To provide continuity, protect property rights, and build on proven experience in managing Shelby County’s official records. Continued leadership allows me to strengthen efficiency, expand modernization, and ensure accurate, transparent, and reliable service for all residents.
Involving citizens in the decision-making process for a Register of Deeds office is essential for transparency, trust, and better service delivery. Hold regular in-person meetings where residents can ask questions, share concerns, and give feedback on policies, fees, and services.
