City of Residence Montverde
I currently hold a Town Council seat and have previously served 6 years on the council. I also served 4 years on the P&Z committee prior to council.
I will encourage all residents to attend the monthly council meetings and become involved in the governing process. I will welcome all input and comments from residents concerning any issue that affects them or the Town.
Maintaining the quality of life in Montverde that we all love is our biggest challenge. Growth cannot be stopped, but it can and should be controlled. Montverde is being surrounded by growth and we must work with the County and surrounding communities to manage the growth so that it does not degrade our quality of life and will benefit all, not just a select few.
I am retired from a 35 year career in commercial construction. I was Senior Project Manager and Operations Manager for a local General Contractor. I am currently assisting with the construction of the new library and I believe my past construction experience will be of great benefit on any future projects the Town may undertake.

With over 20 years of leadership and operational experience, I have developed the skills necessary to approach complex challenges with practical solutions. As a board member of Orlando Thunder Water Polo and a secretary, I’ve successfully helped lead a growing organization, overseeing initiatives that required strategic planning, teamwork, and fiscal responsibility. Additionally, my experience as Vice President of HOA, has given me a deep understanding of budget management, creative problem-solving, and the importance of community engagement. These experiences have equipped me to serve Montverde with a thoughtful, hands-on approach that prioritizes long-term planning and the immediate needs of our residents.
Creating accessible channels of communication, such as an online forum or suggestion portal, will allow for more consistent input from a wider range of voices. I will also establish advisory committees that include diverse members of the community, ensuring that decisions are made with the guidance of various perspectives. By fostering an environment where transparency and dialogue are prioritized, we can work together to create policies that truly benefit Montverde.
One of the biggest challenges facing Montverde is managing growth while preserving the character and natural beauty that makes our town unique. As development pressures increase, we must strike a careful balance between embracing progress and protecting our environment. I plan to address this by advocating for smart, sustainable development that prioritizes green spaces and environmental protection. We need clear, enforceable zoning regulations and comprehensive planning that considers the long-term impact of growth on our infrastructure and resources. My goal is to ensure that Montverde remains a thriving community while maintaining its charm and quality of life for current and future generations.
I am an educator at heart, a proud wife, and the mother of a talented teen who is a Junior Olympic Silver Medalist in water polo. My journey began when I immigrated from Poland as a child, and I have always embraced the opportunities presented to me to grow personally and professionally. I hold both a master’s degree and a bachelor’s degree in business administration, which have helped shape my understanding of leadership, strategy, and community service. My diverse background and experiences have fueled my passion for continuous learning, mentoring, and giving back to the community I am proud to be part of.
