Political Philosophy
For this position, I believe that the role of City Council should be to make decisions solely for the benefit of the city and its residents.
My experience as an educational leader, specifically with Sycamore Community Schools, provides me with unique insight into the needs of the Montgomery Community. I bring a passion for service and a desire to bring my strategic thinking to the team.
My first priority will be to listen and learn from the current members of Council and Administrative Team. Second, I will ask questions that will help me understand more specifically what the strengths, issues and concerns of the residents of the city. Finally, I will offer my experiences and strategic and leadership skills to the team to help find good solutions for the good of the city.
