The Hudson County Register, located in Jersey City, records, indexes and preserves all formal written documents, which affect real property. This helps to ensure the accuracy of Hudson County property and land records and preserve their continuity.
I’m qualified to serve as Hudson County Register because I understand what it means to serve the people of this county, not just hold a title.
Throughout my career in public service, I’ve worked directly with residents, advocated for our communities, and helped navigate the issues that matter most to Hudson County families. I bring experience, accountability, and a strong understanding of how county government can and should work for the people.
As County Register, I will bring that same commitment to the office: making government more accessible, protecting the integrity of our records, and ensuring residents receive the professional and responsive service they deserve.
In my view, the biggest issues facing the Register’s Office are modernization, accessibility, efficiency, and making sure residents can easily access the records and services they depend on.
For many people, dealing with property records and other official documents can be complicated and time-consuming. We should continue modernizing the office so that more services and records are available online, while still maintaining a high level of security and accuracy The goal should be to make the office easier to navigate for everyone, whether you are a longtime homeowner, a first time property owner, an attorney, or simply someone who needs access to an important public record.
I also believe transparency and customer service have to be priorities. County government should work for the people, and residents should receive timely, professional service when they interact with the Register’s Office.
I want to build on the work that is already being done while identifying practical ways to make the Register’s Office more efficient, accessible, and responsive.
My priorities would include expanding and improving online access to public records and services, reducing unnecessary wait times and paperwork, and making the office easier to navigate for residents. I would also look for opportunities to improve communication with the public so residents know what services are available, what documentation they need, and how to get assistance when they need it.
Another priority would be protecting the accuracy and security of our records while continuing to modernize the office. Technology should make government more convenient, not more complicated.
Ultimately, my goal is simple: a Register’s Office that is professional, transparent, efficient, and focused on customer service. Residents should feel that their county government is working for them, and I would make that a priority every day I serve.
