Out of control costs of Home Ownership/Rental and Access to Healthcare. I will bring legislation to immediately demand we accept the Medicaid Expansion for Floridians that the Republicans have blocked for several years. I will insure women regain the access to Abortions and other reproductive health. I will demand we address the insurance rates in Florida and end the chokehold the insurance companies have on us.
Support legislation that keeps affordable housing money where it belongs first of all - in expanding and strengthening affordable REAL AFFORDABLE housing.
Longer early voting, more access points in each county to drop, and easy restoration of rights of felons.
Stop sprawl. Unfortunately, the Counties control most of this so I would propose harsher fines for intrusion onto the protected natural resources.
Simple - women should have access to abortion and it should be MEDICAL not political.
I believe we should ban assault weapons outside Law Enforcement and the Military. I also believe all prospective gun owners should undergo EXTENSIVE mental and criminal background checks/tests.
End private vouchers.

Over development and property insurance which are intertwined. Developers are impacting Florida's landscape. This also drives up property evaluations for insurance and taxing purposes. I would abolish property taxes for homesteads paid off and owned outright.
Remove regulations imposed by government on housing. By raising the bar on the standard of living to an unobtainable level for many leaves the most needy even more vulnerable. For people to succeed they need safety and stability. Allow people to choose a comfort level at their desired budget to best suit themselves.

I could see storage facilities converted to tiny housing communities. Each unit acting like a studio apartment/ motel room layout. People will have a safety net of affordable necessities with an incentive to work themselves to a more comfortable level.
There are more people now registered independent/ third party or NPA (no party affiliation). Allowing only two parties to control politics is why our country is in the mess it is in.

Install ranked choice voting or abolish party designation on ballots. People are not doing the research and simply siding with red or blue, no matter who. Those people should be ashamed of themselves.
Stop developing. Stop buying land to preserve with tax dollars. Rezone it for conservation.
The government involvement has only made it worse. They use it as voter bait for every election. You're not going to be able to legislate this topic without admitting that you want men with guns to stop it.
