DC Delegate to the US House of Representatives (desplácese hacia abajo para leer en español)Also referred to as a congressman or congresswoman, the Delegate is elected to a two-year term serving the people of the District of Columbia. Duties: The Delegate possesses the same powers as other members of the House, except that she or he may not vote when the House is meeting as the House of Representatives.
