I am a proud parent of two middle school students in the Stillwater School District. I helped lead two different parent teams in planning and hosting fifth-grade "Someone Special" dances. I had the honor of serving on the most recent Superintendent Selection Committee. I also have taught Junior Achievement at our Elementary school as well as Faith Formation classes at All Saints on the Hudson.
Professionally, I am a litigation attorney with twenty years of experience. Much of my practice was focused on arbitration and dispute resolution. I currently work as a Senior Attorney for Trust and Reliability at a legal AI software company.
I have considered running for a Board seat for several years. I knew it was not something I could fully commit my time to while still a practicing litigation attorney. Now that I am no longer litigating I have more time to focus on our local community. With two students who are very active in sports and other extracurricular activities, I am already motivated and committed to our school district. By joining the Board of Education I hope to have the ability to dive deeper into what it takes to give all our students the best possible educational experience.
I'd like to ensure our students have access to opportunities on par with those at larger schools, recognizing that while we're a small district, our students are incredibly talented.

While all five constituencies are important, I believe that the best interests of the students must be our #1 priority.
I truly believe we are part of a wonderful community. I see much strength and opportunity here and want to ensure we keep moving forward and building a better tomorrow while still honoring the foundation upon which we were built.
