The Board of County Commissioners (BCC) are the individuals elected in 13 districts to represent specific areas of Miami-Dade County. The Commissioners set policy, pass legislation, and votes on the County Budget. Each Commissioner serves a 4-year term and has a limit of 2 consecutive terms. The elections are non-partisan and half of the Commission is up for election every two years.

I'm running for office because in this fast changing society, living with advanced technology, we have the greatest opportunity to introduce Universal Basic Income in a way that every resident of District 2 will be owners and developers of District 2. I'm running because this is the biggest stage on earth, and as a Gitano, as a performer and entertainer, this is my greatest opportunity to thrive in what I love: to make a deep connection with my audience and invoke passion. I'm running because I love my neighbors, my community and it would be the honor of my life to watch the people I love most thrive, flourish and achieve the Dream, that together, White and Black Americans, will dine, fellowship, educate and party in honor of the great leaders who have marched and inspired all of us to love one another.
The 3 most important issues are Transparency, Control and Ownership. As a voter myself, I am eternally frustrated at the lack of information or knowledge of what our political leaders are actually doing. I feel I have no control. I most definitely do not feel capitalism is working for me. The cost of living continues to rise, but where is my opportunity to thrive? At every turn and for every business I have owned and operated, my biggest roadblocks have always been government. So much talk about looking out for small businesses, but the results show a different objective. I truly believe small businesses have been under attack by our political leaders for decades and it continues to get worst for us.
