I am running because I believe leadership is about service, integrity, accountability, and results. After living in Miami Gardens for more than 35 years, I know our neighborhoods, understand our challenges, and have built lasting relationships throughout the community. My long-time residency gives me firsthand insight into residents' needs and a deep commitment to our city's future.

I bring more than 20 years of experience in government, healthcare administration, contract management, nonprofit leadership, and economic development. As a Senior Programs Project Coordinator, I oversee government operations, policy development, regulatory compliance, and performance improvement. As a Florida Certified Contract Manager (FCCM) and former Chief Administrative Aide to a County Commissioner, I have managed public resources, worked with residents and businesses, and helped advance community initiatives.

As Founder and President of the Female Development World Organization, I have led youth development, human trafficking prevention, and community education initiatives while building partnerships that create lasting change.

I bring integrity, compassion, fiscal responsibility, and strategic leadership. I will listen, collaborate, and make informed decisions that strengthen our community and improve the quality of life for every resident.

The three most important issues facing Miami Gardens are housing affordability, public safety, and economic growth.

Housing Affordability: As a renter-majority community, many families, seniors, and young professionals are struggling with rising housing costs. I will support responsible affordable and workforce housing, expand homeownership opportunities, strengthen code enforcement, promote renter education and stability, and pursue state, county, federal, and private funding to increase affordable housing without overburdening taxpayers.

Public Safety: Safe neighborhoods require more than policing. I will support community policing, invest in youth mentorship and workforce development, improve street lighting, sidewalks, traffic calming, and code enforcement, strengthen emergency preparedness, and expand partnerships addressing violence prevention, human trafficking awareness, and mental health.

Economic Development: Major events at Hard Rock Stadium should create lasting opportunities for our residents and businesses. I will advocate for partnerships that connect visitors with local restaurants, retailers, and entrepreneurs through initiatives such as "Shop, Dine, and Experience Miami Gardens." I will support local hiring, workforce development, transparent use of community benefit funds, and traffic solutions that reduce disruptions while maximizing economic opportunities for Miami Gardens.

I’m running because I want Miami Gardens to continue being a place where families can build a life, where our youth see opportunity, and where our senior citizens feel valued. I believe if we focus on improving the quality of life today, we can build an even stronger city for the next generation that calls our community home.

I was born and raised in this city, and I have over 25 years of real-world experience from the state level down to community work here at home. I bring a unique mix of executive-level experience with large, complex systems and local neighborhood understanding at the same time.

I’ve led large systemwide initiatives, written policies that have impacted thousands of families, negotiated multi-million-dollar contracts while serving as a Chief Negotiator for M-DCPS, and built programs that create opportunity for young people. I understand how policy, budgets, transparency, and accountability work, but more importantly, I understand how those decisions affect real people in real time.

At the same time, I am deeply rooted in the Miami Gardens community. I’ve taught in our schools, mentored our youth, sponsored community programs, and I’m a husband and active father involved at Norland Senior High. I’ve spent years working with families and young people because I believe opportunity changes lives.

As the son of Congresswoman Frederica Wilson, this work is in my blood. It flows through my veins and spirit, and I am committed to the community that raised me.

The three most important issues facing Miami Gardens are economic opportunity, housing affordability, and neighborhood safety.

Too many residents leave our city every day for work while many of the jobs located here do not pay a living wage. As the City Center and other developments move forward, I will champion a Local First policy that prioritizes hiring local residents and contracting with local businesses. I will also advocate for the creation of an Economic Development Department focused on attracting employers, supporting entrepreneurs, and preparing residents for high-demand careers.

Rising housing costs are making it harder for families, seniors, teachers, first responders, and young professionals to remain in our community. I will work with city, county, and state partners to expand affordable and workforce housing, require transparency and accountability when public resources support development, and ensure projects deliver real benefits for current residents.

Public safety is about prevention as much as enforcement. I will support community policing, strengthen neighborhood watch programs, invest in youth mentorship and diversion initiatives, and improve lighting, infrastructure, and public spaces that help reduce crime. I believe that every resident deserves to feel safe in their neighborhood and confident that confident that city government is responsive, accountable, and focused on improving quality of life for everyone.
