I'm a dad of four New Caney ISD students with deep roots in our community. I understand our children are the most important aspect of our lives. I bring a dedicated parent's determination and insight to every decision along with 16 years of financial expertise. Parents deserve a voice, taxpayers deserve fiscal responsibility, and NCISD deserves proven leadership. I'd be honored to earn your vote!
Nothing qualifies me more than being an active NCISD dad with a consistent presence in our schools. Through PTO and continuous conversations with educators, I understand our schools' needs. As a corporate finance leader, I’ve created multi-billion-dollar budgets and eliminated waste for top Houston businesses. I’ll apply that same sharp oversight to drive student success and protect taxpayers.
NCISD’s improvement plan correctly focuses on academic rigor, teacher retention, and smart growth. The Board must support this by directing every dollar to the classroom, eliminating waste, and actively engaging and supporting our teachers while reducing bureaucracy. As a parent and finance leader, I’ll ensure strict budget oversight so our schools deliver high-quality outcomes for every student.
We expect high academic standards, but overloaded classes, administrative burdens, and complex student needs strain our educators. The Board must protect planning time, cut unnecessary paperwork, support classroom authority, and direct resources into the classroom. Strong budgetary discipline and leadership will allow us to cut central office waste and support our teachers where it counts!
Our biggest challenge is managing rapid district growth while property taxes strain families. We must build schools, keep class sizes manageable, and recruit top teachers without overburdening taxpayers. I will support rigorous financial audits, eliminate non-instructional waste, and demand strict budget discipline to ensure every tax dollar directly protects and strengthens our classrooms.
Preparing students for self-governance requires a deep understanding of our Constitution, civic responsibility, and American principles. The Board supports this by protecting social studies from political agendas, prioritizing foundational history, and partnering with parents. We must ensure our graduates are equipped to lead, work, and vote responsibly through proper education and open dialogue.
Raised in Millington, IL (pop. 500), I started farm work at 12 and attended Joliet Catholic high school. I graduated from Truman State and lived in Scottsdale before moving to Texas during (COVID 2020) for its Freedom and Values. Today, I'm raising a 6-month-old son with plans to homeschool—unless I can help shape a school system I can truly be confident and proud of.
As a maritime operator, entrepreneur, and parent, I bring disciplined leadership and accountability to School Board Trustee 2. Managing complex budgets, regulatory standards, and high-stakes operations has trained me to solve problems, listen to community needs, and stretch every dollar. I am committed to teacher support, individual development, and transparent governance for our children.
NCISD’s biggest opportunities for improvement are staying Infront of rapid enrollment growth, maximizing facility expansion, and drive academic and life readiness. As bond projects like Highlands Middle School and replacement campuses move from blueprint to reality, the Board will Support the plan ensuring projects finish on time and budget without burdening taxpayers.
NCISD teachers face heavy workloads driven by rapid growth, alongside competitive retention pressure. The Board can support our educators by maintaining competitive compensation, ensuring safe, modern facilities through ongoing bond expansions. By actively listening to teacher feedback, we can foster a transparent culture where educators feel backed, valued, and focused on student success.
I think the biggest challenge facing the District in the next Several years will be the Rappid Growth Clashing with the Rural Values of the people. Listening to Teachers and Parents will keep me in touch with the needs and wants of the People. A Big Example today is Flock, I am not a fan and Do not Support the 24/7 Survalence of the public.
The Board can strengthen civics by expanding local engagement, classroom visits, and primary source study. Board members and local officials should volunteer in classrooms to show how local government impacts students' daily lives. We must prioritize founding documents like the U.S. Constitution, offer non-partisan voter registration, and train teachers to guide discourse without bias.

I am compassionate, determined, hardworking, and care deeply about our community. As a wife, mother of four, longtime community member, and NCISD graduate, this district has been part of my life for many years. I believe in listening to different perspectives, working together, and finding common ground to move our district forward.
For over 14 years, my career has involved budgeting, evaluating needs, balancing priorities, problem-solving and working with people from different backgrounds around the world. These experiences, along with raising four children who learn very differently, have taught me to listen, ask questions and look at situations from more than one perspective.
I see continued academic growth as one of our greatest opportunities. Our improvement plan already identifies measurable goals for student achievement. I want to build on the work underway by collaborating with the Board, monitoring progress, and supporting the resources our students and staff need to keep moving forward.
Retaining great teachers and staff is important to the success of our students. I believe one of the best ways the Board can support them is to listen. Their experience gives us valuable insight into what is working and where support is needed, helping us make informed decisions that strengthen our schools.
As our community continues to grow, our challenge is ensuring our schools grow well with it. That means planning responsibly for facilities, staffing, and resources while continuing to strengthen education. I want to bring a collaborative approach to those decisions while considering what is best for our students, staff, families, and community as a whole.
Students should leave our schools understanding that their voice and participation matter. We can provide opportunities to learn how local government works, research candidates and issues, register to vote when eligible, and engage with their School Board. Learning to listen, ask questions, and respectfully participate prepares students to be involved in their community.
