Wellesley's biggest challenges over the next five years are meeting state housing requirements, paying for schools and infrastructure without overburdening taxpayers, and fixing roads in a way that's more efficient and less disruptive. Flooding and traffic are already real problems, not future problems. We must focus on better planning and coordination to get things done.
Wellesley should be part of a regional effort to address regional problems like housing costs, reduced transportation friction, and education.
