Ski Racing Coach, Volunteer at the Senior Center & Three Children who are avid user of rec programs
As a father of three young children in Wellesley Public Schools, an avid participant in recreational activities and a volunteer at Tolles Parsons Senior Center I am excited to announce my candidacy for the Wellesley Recreation Commission. I have witnessed firsthand the positive impact that recreational and educational programs can have on individuals and families. These opportunities are important not only for improving quality of life, but for bringing people together across generations, backgrounds, and abilities.
I’m passionate about creating more opportunities for programming, expanding access to affordable recreation, and supporting our local parks and facilities to ensure they are welcoming, accessible to everyone and that they are sensitive to the surrounding environment.

Recreation Commission 2018 - Present, TMM 2015-2018
1. Make access to Morses Pond free for Wellesley residents, ensuring that everyone in our community can enjoy this natural resource without financial barriers. This can be done without tax impact by allocating the funding that Rec raises through the fees that we charge for all of our programming to cover our costs.
2. Leverage our new revolving fund to build programs that support new community engagement opportunities across budget years.
3. Continue supporting the land-owning Boards and Commissions across town to increase opportunities for active recreation in town. In particular, working with the NRC and the PBC to complete the Morses Pond project.
