Mission StatementThe mission of the County Clerk s office is to maintain records of the Winnebago County Board of Supervisors, elections, marriage license applications and related documents, dog licensing information, titles to all county-owned vehicles, work permit applications and other records as directed by Wisconsin statutes; to administer elections and provide other office-related services to the County Board of Supervisors, citizens and municipalities within Winnebago County.

I have been employed with Winnebago County for 24 years. I started in the County Clerk's office in 2011 as an Election Specialist, was appointed as Deputy Clerk in 2013, and appointed as County Clerk in 2023 after the retirement of Susan T. Ertmer.
I feel one of the biggest challenge that we face is the mistrust of the election process. We encourage voters to observe the public test that every municipality is required to do before every election. After every election a board of canvass meets to confirm that the results received on election night match the results turned in from the municipalities. Anyone is welcome to attend this meeting.
I feel that every aspect of this position requires good judgement. From elections, to County Board, to Committee meetings, and Budget, all of these require your best judgement and utmost attention.
