For most of my life, I've been a teacher, advocate, union leader, public servant, and special needs parent. I've spent years working alongside families, educators, and community members to solve problems, build relationships, and make our schools and neighborhoods stronger. I'm running because I believe government works best when it stays focused on the basics: strong public schools, safe communities, responsible stewardship of taxpayer dollars, and opportunities for working families to succeed.

As a former educator, union organizer, special-needs parent, and community advocate, I understand how state policies affect everyday Kansans. I've worked with diverse groups, built coalitions, and solved problems through collaboration. I will be an accessible, accountable representative focused on results, not political theater.
Public education, affordability, and government transparency. I will support strong public schools, practical solutions that help working families, and reforms that make government more open and accountable.
Kansans deserve a transparent legislative process. I support easier bill tracking, plain-language summaries, and public notice before major amendments. "Gut and Go" should be limited so citizens have time to review significant changes before final votes.
I support secure elections and accessible voting. As an election worker, I've seen firsthand the professionalism of those who administer our elections. Any changes should be evidence-based, increase transparency, strengthen public trust, and ensure eligible Kansans can participate without unnecessary barriers.

US Army combat veteran. I've served the people of Kansas in the military and I am ready to Serve again, this time without a rifle. I understand that as a representative, it is my duty to serve Kansans of District 88, not the other way around.
I have advocated for Constitutional Rights under the Constitution I swore an oath to three times. I've also defended people's rights in tax law when dealing with the IRS as a member of Taxpayer Advocate Service within the IRS. I will strive to fight, as a Democrat, and stand up for the rights of those who have had those rights infringed upon by the current government. It's time for a change, bringing government back to For the People, By the People, Of the People.
Education. I will fight to FULLY fund education, both general AND Special education. I will also fight to provide teachers with a thriving wage. We do not need our teachers worrying about how they'll pay rent, or cover their lack of employment during the summer months. We should allow them to focus on teaching, not how to pay their bills.
Property Taxes. I will fight to create limits to the Appraisers office ability to arbitrarily raise property values to allow more taxable value. Solving Education funding at the state level, to remove that burden on local governments who have to absorb the shortfall in that funding.
Voting rights. I will fight to make votingmore accessible for people to vote, including minorities and low income Kansans.
I will fight against ANY attempt on a Gut and Go. We, as representatives of the people should never silence those people we're supposed to represent. Period.
Yes! Voting is a Constitutional Right. Not an Amendment, but it is written into the Constitution itself. There is so little fraud, but there is plenty of limits on legitimate Kansas Citizens who are hindered in their voting. We need to put the focus on the real problem, and that's silencing Kansas Citizens who are blocked from voting, not illegal immigrants that account for .00000002 percent of all voter fraud. The real fraud is in preventing legitimate Citizens from voting easily and with no hindrance.
