My primary motivation is a genuine dedication to public service and a deep-seated belief that the work of the Clerk’s Office directly impacts our community. Over the past 22 years, I have gained comprehensive, hands-on experience by working within every single division of the Clerk’s Office. This extensive operational background, combined with specialized education and targeted professional certifications, gives me an unmatched understanding of the office's duties. I am not just familiar with the responsibilities of this role, I have actively executed them, making me uniquely prepared to lead from day one.
My absolute top priority is safeguarding and maintaining secure, accessible ballot access for all eligible citizens. I firmly believe that robust security and voter accessibility are not mutually exclusive; our elections can, and should, be both. Beyond election administration, I will ensure the Clerk's Office remains focused on service excellence across all divisions. To achieve this, I will continue to review workflows to identify efficiencies, and implement modern cost-saving processes.
Rapidly shifting legislation is the biggest challenge facing the Clerk’s Office today. With dozens of new bills introduced each session, my approach to keep staff and the public informed is twofold:
For Staff: I have implemented a proactive, continuous training. Including formal training meetings following legislative updates, and regular reviews of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
For the Public: Clear, transparent communication is vital to maintaining public trust. I have utilized, social media, information guides and town hall meetings to break down complex statutory ensuring voters always understand how new laws affect their voting experience.

I’m running because I believe voters deserve elections that are transparent, accessible, secure, and accountable. My professional background in finance, auditing, and public relations has given me years of experience reviewing processes, analyzing systems, solving problems, and communicating complex information clearly. These experiences have prepared me to approach this role with professionalism, honesty, and a focus on serving voters.
My top priority is increasing public confidence in our elections by improving transparency, accessibility, and public communication to the voters while maintaining secure and efficient election administration. Voters should receive clear, consistent communication about every aspect of how elections work, feel confident participating, and have meaningful opportunities to observe and engage in the process.
Clear communication and consistent training are essential. I would prioritize regular staff training, updated written procedures, and clear public communication through multiple channels including community outreach, public demonstrations, online resources, and informational events. Election changes should not create confusion for voters and staff should understand what changes, why they changed, and what it means for them.
Once changes are implemented I would request third party audits to objectively measure our progress of implementing and communicating election law changes.
Many voters face barriers related to understanding the voting process and awareness of election laws and rules because of limited engagement opportunities. Addressing these challenges requires proactive voter education, expanded outreach efforts, increased opportunities for public engagement, and making election information easier to access and understand. Improving participation starts with facilitating better times and opportunities that benefit voters and then helping them feel informed and confident.
