While at the clerk’s office, 1994-2016, I worked in the estate and special proceeding departments including doing estate and special proceeding hearings. I’ve assisted hospital hearings, been a courtroom clerk and prepared court calendars. In May 2016 I started working in an attorney’s office, while working for an attorney I’ve done civil work, assisted people with traffic tickets, estates and assisted the attorney with jury trials. I have decades of experience in the court system and private legal practice; I know what is required to serve the public and the legal community.
The clerk of court's office serves ALL citizens of Catawba County. I will provide compassionate, fair and efficient service to all.
I have done estate hearings and competency hearings in the past. I have been a courtroom court for years in juvenile court. All citizens deserve to be treated with respect and dignity.
When people come to the Clerk of Court's office, it's normally for difficult circumstances. Someone has passed away and they need to open an estate, domestic violence victims, they feel like they've been taken advantage of and need to do a small claim action, evict someone from a rental property, pay off a ticket or many other things, coming to the clerk's office is not for fun. I will be there to assist you with friendly and speedy service.
