US HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES DISTRICT 08

Each state receives representation in the US House of Representatives in proportion to the size of its population but is entitled to at least one representative. There are currently 435 representatives, a number fixed by law since 1911. Starting in 2024, NC has 14 members of the US House; the NC State Legislature changed the district boundaries in October, 2025. The House shares with the Senate responsibility for all lawmaking within the United States. For an act of Congress to be valid, both houses must approve an identical document. Each representative serves a two-year term. There are no term limits.

I run a small business that has at one point employed over 70 employees at once. I built it from the ground up and I know how to manage the needs of many different people from different backgrounds and keep everything running smoothly. I also believe that elected officials should have strong values, and I'm proud to say that I have developed an unyielding sense of justice and I will work to see these values reflected in our government.
I’m passionate about restoring integrity to our democracy and ending the corrupting influence of money in politics. I believe government should serve people, not corporations or special interests. I care deeply about rebuilding the middle class, addressing the cost-of-living crisis, and ensuring every working family can live with dignity. I’m also committed to investing in education, healthcare, and infrastructure, when we strengthen our communities, we strengthen the nation as a whole.
Wages haven’t kept up with rent, groceries, or healthcare. I’ll raise the minimum wage to keep pace with inflation, cut taxes for working families while closing loopholes like carried interest for hedge funds, and protect Social Security. I’ll back Medicare for All to lower out-of-pocket costs, build affordable starter homes, support small businesses with loans and tax credits, and ensure farmers and workers can thrive.
I’ll start by refusing corporate PAC money and pushing for full transparency in campaign funding so voters know who influences their politicians. I support banning stock trading by members of Congress, closing the revolving door with lobbying bans, and establishing term limits. I’ll work across the aisle on issues like housing costs, veterans’ care, and protecting Social Security, and fight gerrymandering so voters choose their leaders, not the other way around.
I’ll protect clean drinking water, defend national parks from privatization, and hold polluters accountable when they harm North Carolina’s land and communities. I also support stronger antitrust enforcement in energy markets and investment in public transit to cut emissions and ease traffic.
Public service should be about delivering for working people, not protecting corporate interests. I’m running to lower everyday costs, protect your rights, and restore trust in government by rejecting corporate PAC money and putting transparency first. I want to strengthen our infrastructure, make owning a home an achievable goal for every American, reduce the cost of healthcare, and raise wages, but I have one main goal, and that's to make government work for the people who work hard every day to make this country great.
