I hold a business degree and have spent years working in multiple levels of management, giving me real-world experience in budgeting, personnel leadership, strategic planning, and problem-solving. I’ve managed teams, balanced competing priorities, and made data-driven decisions with accountability for results. That background prepares me to be a responsible steward of taxpayer dollars, evaluate policies through a practical lens, and lead with efficiency and fairness. My experience equips me to ask the right questions, demand transparency, and make informed decisions that benefit the entire community.
managing growth responsibly. Rapid growth impacts every part of county government, especially infrastructure and quality of life. Closely tied to growth is water—ensuring long-term water supply, capacity, and planning are addressed before development outpaces resources. Finally, extraterritorial jurisdictions (ETJs) must be reviewed to ensure fairness, accountability, and proper representation for county residents affected by municipal decisions. Addressing these issues together, with thoughtful planning and collaboration, is critical to protecting both our future and our rural character.
The most effective role the County Commission can play in improving local schools is providing stable funding, responsible oversight, and long-term planning. While curriculum decisions belong to the School Board, the Commission must ensure facilities, safety, and infrastructure keep pace with growth. I will advocate for smart capital planning, school construction that matches enrollment trends, and funding that supports safe, modern learning environments. I also support strong collaboration between county leaders, educators, and the community to ensure taxpayer dollars are used efficiently and focused on student success.
I will focus on policies that support smart, sustainable economic growth. This includes investing in infrastructure such as water, roads, and broadband to attract and retain employers, while ensuring development is planned responsibly. I support working with local businesses, trades, and agriculture to reduce unnecessary regulations and keep jobs local. I will advocate for workforce development partnerships with schools and community colleges to prepare residents for in-demand careers. My goal is to grow the tax base without sacrificing our rural character or placing undue burdens on taxpayers.
I will focus on strengthening social services by ensuring programs are efficient, accessible, and responsive to community needs. This includes supporting partnerships between the county, nonprofits, and faith-based organizations to expand resources for families, seniors, and vulnerable populations. I will advocate for better funding, improved coordination among agencies, and data-driven decisions to maximize impact. My goal is to provide quality services that help residents thrive while being responsible stewards of taxpayer dollars.
I am committed to serving Moore County with the same practical, results-driven approach I’ve applied in my business career. My experience in management at multiple levels has taught me how to lead teams, make tough decisions, and plan for long-term success. I will bring that same focus to county government—ensuring growth is managed responsibly, water and infrastructure are planned for the future, and residents have a voice in decisions that affect them. I value transparency, collaboration, and accountability, and I will work tirelessly to protect our rural character while fostering a strong, sustainable community for all who live here.
