I have years of experience in the corporate world using business principles in Administrative positions. I have a BS in Business Administration from Pfeifer University and a Masters in Accountancy from Gardner Webb University. I served as a Commissioner from 2004-2008 and served on Centralina COG, Pathways Board and others while building relationships for the betterment of the Lincoln County citizens.
To gain respect from the citizens and get them answers to issues that they have not been able to get from the current administration. We need to address issues for all of Lincoln County citizens while keeping in mind with equitable distribution based on population and needs.
Work with members of the school board to know their needs and make sure that there will be equitable distribution based on population and needs, not wants. We must be sure that the school board members need to control costs and keep in mind that their monies coming from Lincoln County is from the citizens and they must be held accountable for their spending and results.
Work with and thru the Lincoln County Economic Development Association. We need to try to recruit businesses to pursue quality growth and for a good quality of life for the citizens of Lincoln County.
We need to be sure that social services are only going to persons that meet the criteria for assistance.
Just a Thought! The Board of Commissioners, all elected officials and all Lincoln County employees, must work together in an ethical and unbiased manner for the good of the residents of Lincoln County to make this a great place to live and work.
