The 7-member Board sets the policy for the county, determining the strategic vision for the county, appoints a county manager, attorney and others to serve the county, adopts ordinances, including zoning, and establishes an annual budget, which includes setting the tax rate and calling bond referendums. Two commissioners are elected from District A, 4 from District B, and 1 at-large. All are elected in partisan elections in even-numbered years and serve staggered 4-year terms.

I am a new person with new ideas I will not just go with the flow I will ask questions like who what where when and why things are happening and if possible check things out myself personally showing up and asking questions
proper funds allocations and ending homelessness I believe that it can be achieved and with my new ideas and outlook it will be achieved
I believe in the hands on approach going to the local schools finding the errors connecting with school administrators finding out first hand what are the issues instead of waiting for some third party to give a report through email
the policies I will propose have to come from a majority of votes in order to pass proposing policies does not mean anything unless you have a majority of votes my proposal is to speak to the other commissioners so any policies or proposal about improving the economy will pass
i am a hands on person my intention is to personally go to the social services around the county and to question them on what improvements they feel they need
