I am deeply committed to transparency and dedicated to advocating for the specific needs of my district. With a firm grasp of state government operations and budgeting, I possess the bipartisan leadership skills necessary to build diverse coalitions, work across the aisle, and communicate clearly to achieve results for our community.

Public Education Funding. I would like to take a seat at the Education Committee table and show what works and more importantly what doesn't work. By cutting the bloat and redirecting the funding where it needs to go for our students and teachers is a priority.
I will concentrate on addressing the teacher shortage with competitive pay, restoring master’s pay, and school infrastructure. Workforce development also plays a vital part in our education system and we need to capitalize on this area moving forward.
Tax policy in North Carolina is central to funding public services, healthcare and infrastructure while directly impacting income equality and economic growth.
I will advocate for school and environmental safety, law enforcement recruitment and retention, and strengthen mental health and crisis response as well as combat violent crime.
