I am a Christian, husband and a dad. My family and I operate a farm and seed business in the same community we grew up in. I have served my community in many different ways over my lifetime. I believe my knowledge of community, business and civic experience makes me the best candidate for NC House District 79.
Support our local industries like farming, fishing and timber. A strong economy is the key to growing our communities and keeping families together.
My wife and I have educated 3 boys in Beaufort County. This experience leads me to believe that teachers should be the highest priority. My wife has taught in both public and private schools. I have served on a private school board for 10 years and as a community college trustee for 2 years. I believe this experience gives me the ability to make decisions that best serve our students.
Lower taxes encourages growth. This must be the philosophy every time tax policy is considered.
Supporting our law enforcement officers must be a top priority. Giving them the resources they need to perform the duties we entrust them with is essential. A safe drug free community should be our main objective.
Representing my home in the legislature would be a great honor. Please consider giving me that opportunity. Thank you.
