Position/philosophy statement I am THE CONSERVATIVE CANDIDATE. My 20 year record of voting on the Stallings Town Council and the last 12 years at the Mayor proves my conservative voting record. Faith - Family - Freedom is my personal philosphy.

I'm a conservative businessman with 42 years of experience coupled with 20 years on Stalllings Town Council and last 12 as Mayor. I listen to my constituents and provide solutions to their needs.
The most important issue is providing sewer to increase commercial and light industrial development. The current commissioners have not provided a solution to the sewer problem and I will make it my priority. The second issue is the condition of the jail. It is in horrible condition and it costs Union County taxpayers more than necessary to operate.
The most effective role to help local schools is to make sure the money gets to the classroom, to the students and teachers - not to administrators and consultants. In Stallings, I lead the effort to put a full time police officer at Stallings Elementary and was funded by the Town. I would suggest every town do the same.
Increase sewer capacity. It's been a problem for many years and current commissioners have not provided a solution or plan. Increasing sewer capacity will be my priority.
Social services are the most important way Union County can help our citizens on a personal level. Making sure these services and policies are easy for our citizens to obtain and not delayed by government beauracy.
As I stated before I am the most conservative candidate and proven by my 20 year voting record as Stallings Mayor. I'm a businessman not a politician who happens to serve thru politics. I'm not part of a block of candidates that will vote the same way on every issue. I'm an independent thinker who has our citizens, businesses and churches best interest in my heart. I've lived in Union County for 30 years and been a member of First Baptist Indian Trail for 30 years. My 3 kids graduated from Union County schools and my daughter, Allie, still lives in Union County. My wife Terri, of 45 years, has taught many years in the Union County schools. My personal philosophy is Faith-Family-Freedom! I would appreciate your vote starting with early voting on February 12 and or in the primary on March 3. Thank you for your support!
