Change is here in Onondaga County. We are in a housing crisis, costs continue to rise while families are not making enough. We need to change Onondaga County’s priorities from funding corporations to taking care of our residents.
There are many issues that need to be addressed and to start we need to increase transparency and accountability in county government. We need to know what is working well and what needs new solutions.
We need to repair our aging infrastructure and fully staff county departments. We need to protect our green spaces and waterways for future generations by implementing sustainable building practices, make our neighborhoods more walkable and by become a clean energy community.
Our government should not be a rubber stamp. It should be about critical thinking, fiscal responsibility and passing policies that benefit as many people as possible.
As a County Legislator, I hold town halls, provide information about the county and give residents a say in their county government. I am always learning and I always want to bring the community along with me so we can learn together and use our collaborative knowledge to create a better Onondaga County.
I will continue to be responsive to my constituents and provide updates on the legislature's actions through multiple mediums including email, social media and my website. My goal is to empower residents to have a say in their government. Together, we can work towards a better Onondaga County!
