Data driven prioritization; Operational streamlining; Resource sharing and internal cross-training, and Turn the trustee's office into an active, community partner, ensuring that taxpayer funds are efficiently used to help those in need.
Host town hall /pop-up events to explain the role of the trustee and the specific resources available; Use platforms like Facebook to post regular updates and highlights of available services, to help make information more readily accessible to residents; and, Implement a "Mobile Office": Instead of waiting for people to come to us, we’d take the office to community centers, food pantries, and libraries to answer questions and possibly process applications on-site.
