My priorities for Croton-on-Hudson are to preserve the character and community spirit that make this Village so special. To that end, I will work tirelessly to ensure that our local government remains transparent, responsive, and accountable. I support keeping the Village Court in Croton and maintaining a strong, community-oriented approach to governance. Village agenda items should be communicated clearly so residents are given a meaningful opportunity to be heard, and my vote will unabashedly reflect what best serves our Village over competing state or county interests. I also believe the Village should actively engage its Advisory Boards and use thoughtful, strategic community planning to guide long term decisions. Finally, drawing on my experience as Chief Court Attorney for the Bronx, I will work to simplify our ever-expanding Village Code and pledge to serve with humility, openness, and a willingness to listen, learn and evolve.

Croton has achieved many breakthrough efforts in sustainability, infrastructure, public safety and housing. I’m proud to have had a role in those efforts which have been welcomed by our community and recognized with statewide and regional awards. And we can do more in the two years ahead, including: (1) initiatives like the game-changing NY Forward $4.5 million state grant; (2) infrastructure projects like the Half Moon Bay bridge rehabilitation, new sidewalks, and train station and shoreline flood protection; (3) stronger regulation of gas powered leaf blowers; (4) improving bike safety; and (5) increased cultural and recreational opportunities. Progress in Croton is always a collaborative process. Working with my Croton friends and neighbors to solve problems and turn new ideas into reality is what public service is all about to me. So, with the support of my community, I look forward to helping to continue the progress we’ve made together.

Croton is a special place, and my first priority is keeping it that way. That starts with good governance: open communication with residents and a village government that attracts and retains the best staff. We are fortunate to have an outstanding DPW, police department, and parks and recreation team.

Affordability is just as urgent. With gas prices and inflation still climbing, we must control costs, grow revenue, and support the small businesses that anchor our village. Caring for our infrastructure is part of that. Planning ahead and maintaining what we have costs far less than emergency repairs.

I also want to preserve Croton's natural beauty while making it more accessible to all. Our parks, riverfront, and trails are treasures, and our recreation staff bring them to life for every age.

Public safety matters too, including clear policies for license plate reader cameras and safer streets for everyone. Finally, growth should fit our village and happen in full public view.
