Qualifications/Experience
Resident of North Plainfield for 20 years. Have an 11th grader who started school in district in Kindergarten and a 1st grader who started in district in Pre-K.
Involvement in Community
Volunteer as Girl Scout leader to a troop of 24 for 7 years. Involved in PTA at Stony Brook elementary school. Attend numerous community events throughout the year

Watching my daughter and her classmates move through the district these past 12 years, I have seen the changes that have happened, as well as the changes that have not. I am at a point in my life where I am able to commit to being part of the changes to come so that my 1st grader and her classmates have an equally if not better educational experience.

Professionally, I bring over 20 years of strategic leadership and a 15-year track record of managing multi-million dollar budgets. Whether directing teams of 85+ professionals in high-stakes environments or maintaining full budget compliance for eight consecutive years, I know how to optimize resources without compromising excellence. Additionally, my 10+ years as a Troop Leader mentoring youth gives me direct insight into collaborative leadership and curriculum delivery.
I am running to combine my 12-year perspective as a district parent with my expertise in operational efficiency to ensure our school system is managed transparently and every dollar directly elevates the classroom.
As a parent of both an 11th grader and a 1st grader, I see firsthand how technology shapes our children’s lives. Our district must approach this challenge by implementing strict safeguards for social media while proactively preparing students for an AI-driven future.
For social media, the focus must be on minimizing classroom distractions and protecting student mental health through clear, enforceable device policies and digital literacy education. Conversely, AI should not be ignored or simply banned; it is a tool our children must learn to navigate ethically. We need to equip our educators with the training and resources to integrate AI responsibly into the curriculum, focusing on critical thinking, academic integrity, and future workforce readiness.
With over 20 years of professional experience managing complex operations and implementing structural system updates, I look at technology through the lens of governance. I will ensure our district establishes proactive, adaptable policies that protect our students’ well-being today while giving them the competitive technological skills they need for tomorrow.
When handling North Plainfield's school budget, my priority is simple: keep cuts as far away from the classroom as possible.
We must protect and prioritize our educator workforce, academic intervention services, and curriculum updates. Our teachers and specialized student supports directly impact classroom excellence and student outcomes. Fortunately, with the passage of our district’s $34 million bond referendum, major facility and science lab upgrades are funded with state aid, allowing our operating budget to focus strictly on people and programs.
To find reductions, we must target administrative overhead, redundant educational software subscriptions, and vendor contracts. I will advocate for an line-by-line audit of district expenses to optimize daily workflows and cut underutilized services.
With 15 years of experience managing multi-million dollar corporate budgets and maintaining full compliance for eight consecutive years, I know how to find operational efficiencies. My strategy is to maximize every taxpayer dollar, ensuring that administrative costs are trimmed so our classroom investments can grow.
