The New York State Assembly is the lower chamber of the New York State Legislature. Alongside the New York State Senate, it forms the legislative branch of the New York state government and works alongside the governor of New York to create laws and establish a state budget. Legislative authority and responsibilities of the New York State Assembly include passing bills on public policy matters, setting levels for state spending, raising and lowering taxes, and voting to uphold or override gubernatorial vetoes.The New York State Assembly meets in the state capitol building in Albany, New York.Assembly District 128 includes parts of Onondaga county.

Experience and Qualifications
I was the CEO for 28 years for the Mohawk Valley Water Authority (a NYS Public Authority operating a drinking water system.) I previously worked for the City of Syracuse for 12 years as an administrator, Manager of Water Operations, and finally as city Budget Director overseeing 2,000 employees and a then-budget of $180 million. I have a total of 40 years experience in government as an executive making major public policy decisions and managing large budgets.
Community Involvement
I am a former chair of Mohawk Valley EDGE (the Mohawk Valley Region's largest economic development agency) and was on that board for 23 years. I also chaired both their finance and loan committees as board Treasurer for 8 years. I oversaw the organization's financial health and its small business assistance activities. I was also on the board of directors of the Greater Utica Chamber of Commerce for 14 years. I am a past Chair, and chaired their Government Affairs committee for 7 years.
Education
Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, SUNY Oswego, 1981. Also, 36 credit hours toward an MBA degree but stopped short of achieving the degree due to family obligations.

1. Making energy more affordable by modifying the CLCPA
2. Strengthening support of law enforcement to make communities safer.
3. Restoring the rights of consumers and local residents to make their own decisions.
The planet is slowly warming as it continues to emerge from the most recent period of glaciation. This is due to natural variation and known cycles that occur over periods of tens of thousands of years. Our tax dollars should be spent on resiliency projects to make infrastructure less vulnerable to the effects of this gradual warming cycle.
I will work hard to ensure that every citizen is treated equally in the eyes of the law, and has an equal opportunity to work hard and reap the benefits of their efforts.
