Lower utility bills, real relief for families, and healthcare without fear. Last winter, bills across the 112th averaged $360 in a single month, a 26% spike, and delivery rates jumped again in April. I'll intervene in rate cases at the Public Service Commission and fight for an independent utility consumer advocate. Second, build on the Working Families Tax Credit until families get a $3,000 child tax credit, because child care shouldn't cost as much as college. Third, pass the New York Health Act so no neighbor is one medical bill away from crisis. Affordability isn't a talking point for me. It's my kitchen table.

I'm an engineer, so I start with what works. In Clifton Park I'm leading the transition to heat pumps, lowered EV charging rates, and banned data centers that drive up rates. In Albany I'd fully fund the Climate Act with an affordability guarantee so no family pays more to go green, expand heat-pump and weatherization rebates for working households, and invest in flood resilience for towns along the Mohawk and Hudson. Protecting our farms and open space is climate policy too. Clean energy should lower your bill, not raise it.

I'm the son of a Guyanese mother and an Italian father. On the Town Board I equalized overtime policies across every department, regardless of gender, and opened government by live-streaming meetings. In Albany, I'll fight for the New York Health Act, because the gaps in who gets care fall hardest on communities of color, expand the child tax credit that lifts kids out of poverty, and defend a woman's right to make her own healthcare decisions. Justice starts with whether you can afford to live here and whether your government listens to you.

The Supreme Court gutted Section 2 of the Voting Rights Act. New York shouldn't wait for Washington. I'd strengthen and fully fund the John R. Lewis Voting Rights Act of New York, expand state preclearance so local maps and election changes get reviewed before they dilute anyone's vote, and give the Attorney General the resources to enforce it. Our independent redistricting process must be protected from partisan games. Every voter in the 112th, in every county, deserves a fair map and a real voice.

Over my time in office I have listened and learned a lot from my constituents and I know the top three issues to address are energy affordability and choice, affordable childcare, and giving our kids and parents the ability to stay in our great state.

I support a cleaner environment and responsible investments, but I believe NY needs a practical, all-of-the-above energy approach. I am opposed to the CLCPA and mandates that place unrealistic timelines/costs on local governments and school districts without the resources to meet them. Rural communities in upstate NY, for example, are not necessarily ready for fully electric school buses, and we must also protect our valuable farmland and open space. I support legislation that protects energy choice, reduces unnecessary costs on utilities, conducts a cost/benefit analysis of policies, and strengthens standards for the siting of renewable-energy projects. Energy development should consider farmland, sensitive environmental areas, and the needs of our communities. We can pursue cleaner energy without one-size-fits-all mandates. NY should encourage clean energy while preserving choice, protecting our farmland and natural resources, and keeping energy affordable, reliable, and practical.

I am proud to live in such a diverse state, and I believe every New Yorker deserves to be treated with dignity and respect. I do not condone hate speech, discrimination, violence, or threats of violence against anyone. I believe we should focus on what brings people together rather than what divides us, and that even when we disagree, we can do so respectfully and work together to ensure everyone has the same opportunity to succeed.

I oppose gerrymandering and election manipulation wherever it occurs, regardless of which party is in power. Fair maps, fair elections, and an impartial redistricting process should be the standard.

I have pushed back against many efforts in New York including some as recent as this year, that would weaken those principles. A constitutional amendment proposal advanced this session which would make significant changes including allowing districts to be redrawn outside the normal 10 year process and changing the rules governing the Independent Redistricting Commission.

I believe redistricting should not be controlled by whichever party or legislative majority happens to be in power. The goal should be an independent, transparent process that puts voters and communities ahead of incumbents or political parties. New Yorkers deserve fair maps and a system that neither side can manipulate for political advantage.
