People before Politics to build a safer,stronger, and more affordable Long Island. Stopping the mass exodus of businesses and families out of New York by reducing the cost of living and fighting crimes like retail theft. Supporting our unions that will build and advance our infrastructure to sustain homes and businesses.
Work with businesses ( such as Amazon) to install solar systems that would help them become self sustaining without effecting our grid. Implementing more hybrid vehicles in large fleets ( school and municipal buses, delivery vehicles,etc) until we build a grid that can sustain more pure electrical alternatives.
Provide law enforcement, prosecutors, and judges the authority needed by enacting effective laws that directly target hate crimes with meaningful consequences. Our current legal systems does not effectively address repeat offender crimes that allow the same individuals to commit the same crimes over and over and are released back into our communities without consequence.The original intent of bail reform was never intended to remove the discretion from the judges .
I do not believe that any one party or municipality should look at any community and decide to redistrict just to get votes. We have strayed away from addressing gross misrepresentation and now have created divided communities looking for one party rule. Voters have accepted working within their respective party and have totally abandoned the community aspect of working together towards providing a better quality of life for all.

Based on the conversations I've had with my constituents. I feel that Climate Resilience and Flood Protection is particularly important to Long Islanders. Especially those who those who have a very high water table and prone to flooding.
Also Extreme Heating & Cooling
Investing in more heating and cooling centers for seniors, veterans, children, and low-income households.
More outreach to educate families on how to lower energy costs while reducing emissions.
Protecting NYS's natural infrastructure, and investing in more climate preparedness and Emergency Management within our towns and villages.
As a state we are already moving forward with progress as it relates to resilience and preparedness.
Policies that includes equal opportunities in education, fair housing and ownership, opportunities for MWBE, Criminal Justice, and Environmental Justice.
Louisiana v. Callais decision means that we need to take a different approach. New York needs to strengthen protections for a fair and just representation. Any dilution or removal of ones ability to vote based on unconstitutional gerrymandering should be challenged. As a minority non one community should be diluted based on ethnicity, race, color, creed or language.
