St. John's University
1- Affordability. My goal is simple: put more money back in the pockets of working families. I'll fight to expose and cut corrupt and wasteful government spending. I'll work to expand affordable housing and bring quality jobs to our district.
2-Public Safety. Public Safety is a fundamental responsibility of government, and every resident deserves to live without fear. Our elected officials have failed our District. Roosevelt Avenue is an embarrassment, and I will fight tooth and nail to improve our quality of life and call for stiffer penalties, better traffic controls, and a more visible police presence to deter violence and keep our community safe.
3- Education. Our Public Schools are failing and there is a lack of oversight and accountability. If elected, I'll fight for stronger curriculum that will improve educational outcomes, supporting our teachers who care, expanding opportunities for students, and ensuring every taxpayer dollar reaches the classroom, not the bureaucrats.
New York’s climate strategy should protect our environment without placing an unfair financial burden on working families. I strongly believe in and will support practical climate policies that will address rising costs by investing in clean energy, resilient infrastructure and public transportation. Lower emissions while protecting New Yorkers from extreme weather and flooding by strengthening coastal defenses, drainage systems and stormwater infrastructure in vulnerable communities.
True social and racial justice means making sure government works fairly for every neighborhood and holding institutions accountable when it fails. I will always stand for equal treatment, equal opportunity, and equal protection under the law for every New Yorker. This requires meaningful data collection on disparities in government programs so lawmakers can identify gaps and measure whether policies are working. Economic opportunity to expand workforce training, apprenticeships, small-business support, and access to capital in underserved communities. Healthcare access
to address disparities in access to primary care, mental-health services, maternal care, and preventive medicine. If elected, I’ll fight for every New Yorker, while expanding access to quality schools, good jobs, affordable housing, healthcare, and safe communities.
Because of rampant corruption in Albany, New York State has failed to ensure redistricting complies with the Constitution that has been established to protect every New Yorker’s equal representation and voting rights. I would support transparent, independent redistricting based on neutral criteria such as population, communities of interest, compactness, and geographic integrity, rather than drawing districts to favor of only political party or racial group.
