My central focus as Trustee is on improving operating efficiencies and maintaining the Village on a sound financial footing by controlling expenses, ensuring residents receive the maximum value for the taxes we pay. I'm interested in developing shared services to leverage the combined power of other area municipalities, but of course without degrading the high level of service residents already receive. I would also like to improve the relationship that Ardsley and the other villages have with the Town of Greenburgh, which has been unnecessarily adversarial at times. Building on my long involvement with local land use boards (Zoning and Architectural Review), I’m especially interested in responsible development consistent with the comprehensive plan and proposed downtown zoning updates, including additional residential options, encouraging diverse retail consistent with the community, and protecting the aspects of Ardsley’s character that drew many of us here in the first place.
