My priorities for Somers are maintaining strong fiscal discipline while continuing to invest in the services, infrastructure, and quality of life our residents expect. That means keeping property taxes under control, protecting our Aaa credit rating, and aggressively pursuing grants to reduce the burden on local taxpayers.
Infrastructure remains a major focus, including roads, drainage, water and sewer, sidewalks, and long-term capital planning. We are also investing in our parks, recreation, public safety, emergency preparedness, and historic assets while ensuring that Town services remain responsive and reliable.
Just as important is responsible planning for Somers’ future. We must manage growth carefully, protect our community character and environment, support our seniors and families, and preserve local decision-making. Throughout all of this, my priority is open communication, transparency, and making sure residents understand what their Town government is doing and why.
