District 15 contains Bronxville, part of Eastchester, and part of Yonkers.Term: 2 years; Salary: $75,000 BaseDuties: Among the duties of each County Legislator is to enact laws dealing with the County and its residents; to adopt an annual budget and to levy taxes; to determine the structure of County Government and the number of County employees and their salaries; and to initiate new projects and programs as the need arises. Graduate of West Virginia State University with dual degrees. My education and professional experience have informed my work in public service, community advocacy, and leadership.
Prior Civic Service
My prior civic service includes work as an aide to the Yonkers City Council, election technician with the Westchester County Board of Elections, labor leadership, and extensive community advocacy. I have also served in leadership roles with the Yonkers Branch of the NAACP, PTSA, women’s political organizations, and civic groups across Westchester.
