The Town Justice has jurisdiction over a broad range of matters, including vehicle and traffic matters, small claims, evictions, civil matters and criminal offenses, and in special proceedings. He or she is responsible for keeping the records and dockets required by the uniform justice court act, and to submit the dockets to the members of the Town Board (Council) for examination and audit.
