What is the most important issue facing your Single Member District (SMD) and how do you intend to address it?

How will you engage with residents to be an effective Commissioner, especially reaching those who are unfamiliar with the role and value of ANCs?

From what I hear from residents, street safety is the most important issue facing our SMD -- from the lack of accessible sidewalks to dangerous driving on our streets. As I have in my last two terms, I will continue to advocate with District agencies to push for measures to make our streets safe and accessible for everyone, no matter the mode of transportation.
Being an effective commissioner means reaching people where they are. I have strived to update residents about the work their ANC commissioner is doing, and am accessible via phone, text, and email, as well as regular in person engagements with residents.
