Cleveland Park is incredibly expensive to live in. I have seen many friends leave the neighborhood when they want to start a family or purchase a home. The strict rules on construction and severe restrictions on zoning make my SMD very difficult to live in or keep a business open. I plan to advance plans to upzone my neighborhood to allow more homes to be built along Connecticut Avenue.
I will meet with associations and small businesses that operate in my SMD. The Quebec House Tenants Association has been critical in improving living conditions in the Quebec house building and I have meet with members to explain how the ANC works. I also will provide regular updates to constituents through email and physical mail when possible.
