Biographical Information

What is the most important issue facing your Single Member District (SMD) and how do you intend to address it?

How will you engage with residents to be an effective Commissioner, especially reaching those who are unfamiliar with the role and value of ANCs?

Qualifications Community organizer and public servant with a long history of advocating for my communities on housing, job access, voting rights, education, and justice issues.
The most pressing issue is the rising cost of living, particularly housing. I will take an active part in the ANC's engagement with zoning, pushing for the development of affordable housing on vacant properties and District-owned land and coordinating with other ANCs to push for budgets and legislation that will give us more tools to address housing District-wide.
I will actively engage with neighborhood events, host "office hours" to meet with neighbors, and regularly knock doors.
