I have worked at the polls in Virginia on election day and appreciate the high level of management, security and integrity of our system.

I'd like to eliminate funding for ICE (which didn't exist before 2003) and decrease significantly the CBP budget as we should honor the Declaration of Human Rights - specifically Article 14.
All campaigns should be federally funded and of a short duration.
We badly need a national health care program. No full-time worker should need federal assistance so the minimum wage must be raised. Many federal programs that were cut by DOGE should be reinstated.
My biggest priority is to end our forever wars which rob our country of money for our people and cause destruction and death in other countries. And...there are many, many other changes I'd work on - check out the Green Party's platform for further info.

I support the federal and state roles as specified in the Constitution, Article I, Section 4, Clause 1: “The Times, Places and Manner of holding Elections for Senators and Representatives, shall be prescribed in each State by the Legislature thereof; but the Congress may at any time by Law make or alter such Regulations, except as to the Places of choosing Senators.”
Immigrants should be vetted before entering the country. Keep gangs out while admitting immigrants trying to escape them. No one is above the law. While there must be accountability for law enforcement abuses, it is wrong, and in fact dangerous, to encourage obstruction of law enforcement.
Contributions should be allowed only from individuals and not from PACs, corporations, or unions. Contributions should go directly to candidates or political parties and can be unlimited. Ban Super PAC ads mentioning candidates.
The federal government spends $2.1 trillion on medical care. Ninety percent of that is spent on the chronic disease epidemic caused by ultra-processed food and the old high-carb food pyramid, which was a prescription for diabetes. EAT REAL FOOD. Boycott the nutritionless "food" with artificial ingredients, which means you cannot buy 80% of what's in the grocery store. Eat eggs, full-fat dairy, red meat, whole grains, fruits, and vegetables to reverse chronic disease. Visit realfood.gov. This will improve your health, cut yours and the government's medical expenses, and slash $2 trillion federal deficits without cutting a program. Big Food and Big Med, which both profit from chronic disease, are bankrupting the government.
Iran has shown it has one goal: Build an atomic bomb. That is the only reason it is choking off the world's oil supply. Iran does not want a peaceful solution to the Palestinian plight; it wants war, as demonstrated by the October 7 attack. Its "Death to America" and "Death to Israel" rhetoric and its slaughter of thousands of Iranian protesters shows that it cannot be trusted with an atomic bomb. Contrast that to Trump's "Make Iran Great Again." If Democrats had not thrown the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) a lifeline, the war might have ended by now.
