I want to serve because I care deeply about Waldwick’s children, schools, and future. For more than 18 years, I have owned and operated an early-childhood education organization, working closely with children, families, teachers, and staff. I would bring practical leadership, financial experience, transparency, and an independent voice to the board. I am prepared to listen, ask thoughtful questions, study the facts, and make informed decisions that serve all Waldwick students.
One of Waldwick’s greatest challenges is maintaining educational excellence while managing rising costs and limited resources. We must protect classroom instruction, student services, safety, and excellent educators while spending responsibly. As a childcare business owner, I manage budgets, staffing, facilities, regulations, and long-term planning. I understand how to balance quality and affordability, ask difficult questions, solve problems, and remain accountable for results.
I am a longtime Waldwick resident with deep roots in our community. My father served for many years on the Board of Education, giving me an early appreciation for public service and the importance of strong local schools. My mother worked for the school system until she passed. I also have three children who went through the Waldwick School system. As a resident, business owner, and educator, I regularly speak with families about their children’s needs and futures. I understand that parents want excellent academics, safe and supportive schools, responsible spending, and confidence that their concerns will be heard.
My highest priority will be ensuring that every decision supports strong educational outcomes while remaining fiscally responsible. I will work to protect classroom instruction, support excellent teachers and staff, monitor student progress, and carefully review spending. I will also promote transparency by encouraging clear and timely communication with residents. I will study every issue independently and consider its long-term impact on students, families, and taxpayers.
I am running because my experience, judgment, and commitment to children can make a meaningful contribution. For more than 18 years, I have led an organization serving children and families. I understand accountability, budgeting, staffing, safety, and the importance of earning trust. I will listen, do my homework, work respectfully with others, ask difficult questions when necessary, and always put Waldwick’s students first.
