Commissioners are among the most powerful local officials in Southern Nevada. They manage the county’s multi-billion-dollar budget, pass ordinances, oversee infrastructure such as roads, parks, libraries, and flood control, regulate land use and development, and provide oversight of the county jail system. Their decisions directly impact public safety, housing affordability, economic opportunity, environmental sustainability, and how transparently and responsibly taxpayer dollars are used. In a rapidly growing region like Clark County, these races are critical to ensuring accountable governance, long-term planning, and policies that serve the broad interests of the community.

The County’s top budget priorities should focus on core services and long-term stability. Public safety comes first—fully funding law enforcement, fire, and emergency response. Next is infrastructure, using a “fix it first” approach to roads, drainage, and existing systems. Water, sewer, and growth must align with the Truckee Meadows Regional Plan, Washoe County's Master Plan, Area Plans and NRS 278, ensuring growth pays for itself. Homeless services should be outcome-driven and accountable. We need to stop giving Hand Outs and focus on Hand Ups with acountability. Support for seniors and vulnerable residents helps maintain independence. Finally, strong fiscal discipline and reserves protect taxpayers and ensure stability during downturns.
Housing affordability starts with leadership that puts residents first. My campaign is focused on responsible growth, transparency, and accountability. I will push for a more predictable, efficient permitting process to reduce delays and costs, while ensuring projects meet community standards. Growth must align with infrastructure and follow NRS 278 and the plans that are in place, so existing residents are respected when it comes to development. I will advocate for balanced development that fits our communities, protects quality of life, and maintains local control. My commitment is simple: smart planning, honest decision-making, and making sure Washoe County works for the people who already call it home. Let's work together.
Public safety is the County’s top responsibility. My campaign focuses on supporting first responders with adequate staffing, competitive pay, and modern equipment. As our community grows, we must improve response times and ensure coverage in areas like the North Valleys and rural communities. I support stronger coordination between agencies and expanding behavioral health response teams to handle crisis calls more effectively. Public safety also requires accountability—data-driven decisions, transparency, and measurable results. My commitment is simple: safe neighborhoods, strong support for those who serve, and leadership that puts residents first. I believe a lot more can be done for all parties involved. I have seen both sides.
