Nevada Lieutenant Governor (4 yr terms, no term limits): The Lieutenant Governor is a statewide elected official who serves as a partner to the Governor and presides over the Nevada Senate. In addition to stepping in if the Governor is unable to serve, this office sits on key state boards and commissions and often plays a role in economic development and policy initiatives that affect businesses, education, and workforce growth. While the authority of the position can vary depending on the administration, the Lieutenant Governor helps influence how effectively the executive and legislative branches work together. Because the office contributes to continuity in state leadership and participates in decisions that shape long-term planning and public trust in government, this race gives voters an important opportunity to support steady, responsible, and transparent leadership at the state level.

As Lieutenant Governor, I would approach disagreements between the Governor and Legislature by focusing on communication, transparency, and shared goals. Having served in legislative leadership, I understand how important it is to bring people to the table early, listen to concerns, and find common ground that puts Nevada families first. Whether we are negotiating a state budget or advancing legislation, I believe progress comes from collaboration, not political gridlock. My role would be to help bridge divides, keep conversations productive, and ensure that decisions are made with accountability and the long-term success of our state in mind.
I believe every Nevadan deserves the opportunity to succeed. That means investing in workforce training, apprenticeships, career and technical education, and partnerships with labor unions, community colleges, and local businesses. I would support policies that remove barriers to employment for immigrant families and underserved communities, including improving access to language resources, workforce development programs, and small business support. I also believe we must expand opportunities in growing sectors like healthcare, clean energy, advanced manufacturing, film production, and hospitality so Nevada’s workforce is prepared for the jobs of the future. Nevada succeeds when every person has a fair opportunity to build a stable future,
I would lead by example and prioritize relationships, respect, and open dialogue. Throughout my time in the Legislature, I have worked with colleagues across different perspectives to deliver results on public safety, healthcare, education, and economic opportunity. I believe lawmakers are most effective when we focus on solving problems. As Lieutenant Governor, I would continue bringing stakeholders together, encouraging bipartisan conversations, and keeping the focus on practical solutions that improve people’s lives.
Building public trust in government starts with showing people that their voices matter and that the government can deliver real results. I would continue advocating for transparency, ethical leadership, and greater public engagement in the legislative process. That also means focusing on collaboration to develop and deliver real solutions that improve people’s lives, not spend our time bickering over ideological arguments. By listening to Nevadans, communicating honestly, and following through on commitments, we can strengthen confidence in state government and ensure people feel represented and respected.
