The commissioners are elected to staggered three-year terms. Five of the commissioners represent equally populated districts; four are elected from the county-at-large. Election is for Commissioner from District 3. The Commissioner serves a three year term.

Please explain why you are running and describe the personal and professional
experiences/skills that you possess that make you uniquely qualified to serve.
What priorities would you support in the county budget during your term? Is there a specific department or agency that you consider particularly in need of attention and why?
What is the role of a County Commissioner when addressing the impact of ICE (U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement) policies in our local communities?
What recommendations, if any, would you propose to make sure that the public is informed about and participates in the decision-making process of the County Commissioners?
In addition to the issues you have already discussed, what other challenges to the
county do you see and how would you address them?
As a long-time resident of Egg Harbor Township, it is an honor to be asked to represent District 3 as commissioner.
I’m a proud veteran of the United States Air Force. My years in the service taught me a great deal about discipline, accountability, and responsibility. Military service gives you a deep appreciation for what an extraordinary country this is and for the freedoms we often take for granted.
I earned a Master’s Degree from Penn State University in Speech Communication. .
Professionally, I spent more than 25 years as a Human Resources executive working in a variety of industries, including casino gaming, pharmaceuticals, banking, and telecommunications, where I finished my corporate career as Vice President of Human Resources.
During my years in Human Resources, I learned a lot about leadership. I worked with both effective and ineffective managers. And there’s a saying in Human Resources People don’t quit companies—they quit their managers.
I believe the same thing can apply in government.
Citizens don’t leave politics. They lose faith in ineffective leadershipI have chosen to run for this position because I love my country and closer to home, I have a vested interest in our community.
Obviously, we must stem the tide of the MAGA movement. It is destroying the country we a\ll cherish.
But I will also focus on
• matters of affordability,
• attracting more companies to our area to create good paying jobs
I would hope to create as partnershibp with local unions, corporations and academic inststutions to create training programs to help indviduals be able to apply for better paying jobs and help reduce the Atlantic County unemployment rate. I would like to see a balance between increasing affordable housing with special attention paid to infrastructure and community services. Also I would like to work with the Department of Aging Services to address the needs of our senior population
I am opposed to ICE and together with my colleague Kyle Gornick, if elected we will propose an Atlantic County voice of resistance to their presence
first, change the meeting time. 4 PM on alternate Tuesdays does not make it very accessible to working people. I would also like to see a more indepth explanation of the matters that are voted on at these meetings
AI Data Centers. I vehemently opose their presence in Atlantic county
