The mission of the Delaware Township School District is to prepare each student to become a productive, responsible member of society, able to adapt and change. This goal will be realized through an active and responsible partnership that includes the students, parents/guardians, community and staff.The Delaware Township Board of Education establishes policies that govern all aspects of school district operations, as well as the employment of a superintendent who shall carry out its policies through the development and implementation of regulations. The Board is also responsible for evaluating the effectiveness of its policies and their implementation. This includes setting and evaluating goals in educational and financial areas. The Board consists of nine members who serve staggered 3-year terms.
