It would be a bill that combines higher wages, better working conditions, and affordable childcare because those are problems many hoosiers are facing that all go hand in hand.

Access to affordable childcare would add mu h needed relief to lower income families that have to work so many hours and get no time with their family's.

Increasing wages with better conditions allows parents to not work so many hours or jobs to be able to spend time with their family .
By reinvesting in local businesses, affordable housing, and taxing corporations at a higher rate with incentives that require reinvestment in the communities they operate out of.

Similar to the tax rates before jfk which was proven to be anericas largest economic growth period.
They defenitly can however what we are currently seeing in indiana is redistribution of revenue to those who already have the means to excell as those suffering go without.
End the voucher program, reinvest in public education, increase teacher pay, hire teachers aids, reinstall after school programs including programs that teach high schoolers to run for office to build a future of leaders.
I think its a bit much. I think if it was structured more in a way tailored to the students oppose to pumping out low level workers it would have better results in intelligence as well as individualism.
I would support private sales running background checks, I also would support penalties for irresponsible acts such as, leaving it in easy access of children, increasing penalties for handling one intoxicated in public, increase penalties for brandishing in public. I would also be open to a 48 hour waiting period to ensure the background check is thoroughly completed.
Invest in healthcare. Hire more doctors and nurses that match the demographics of the patients they see.

Make prenatal care easier to access, expand high risk pregnancy programs, expand maternal medicine access, adress tobacco and substance use, make safe sleep education universally accessible, and expand home visiting programs

A change in the department of child services structure, both providing actual oversight and disempowering them and empowering judges to make the decisions.
We need to increase the minimum wage which will increase tax revenue so we can offer more incentives to incoming businesses. We also need to focus on businesses that are innovate with technologies. For example, like solar technologies, so we can begin to rebuild our manufacturing base.
We need to shift the burden of taxes back to be a more equal balance between residents and commercial. But we also need to look into lowering the property tax rates, and instead coming up with other types of taxes to offset it. For example, we should have a service tax, which could generate more revenue...
We need to eliminate education vouchers, and change how education is funded. It should not be funded solely by property taxes, which punishes those schools that are in poorer neighborhoods. Schools should be funded equally, and the state should aid in that funding. They should also remove many of the regulations, like requiring testing or grading schools.
It does not help our students, and increases the burden on teachers.
We should require a permit to carry, that includes a background check. That way we can better ensure that firearms are not put into the hands of dangerous people, but people still have the ability to carry firearms.
We need to fund programs that help pregnant mothers, without the threat of punishment for using drugs or making poor decisions while pregnant.
