As a lifelong resident, GHS graduate, and parent of four boys—two currently in Goshen schools—I have a deep stake in our future. My motto is "purpose over politics." National political noise has no place in our schools; our focus must remain squarely on student achievement, supporting teachers, and managing public funds with complete transparency.

As a local entrepreneur, I bring over 20 years of real-world business experience managing multi-million-dollar budgets & navigating economic shifts. I offer a proven commitment to a zero-property-tax referendum policy, ensuring we live within our means. If budget pressures arise, I am prepared to cut central administrative overhead to protect classroom instruction and frontline teacher pay. I combine fiscal discipline with an unyielding dedication to academics, trades, athletics, and the arts.
The district’s most important challenge is navigating upcoming state property tax reforms and declining enrollment while raising core academic scores—all without burdening taxpayers.

To address this, I will enforce a strict zero-property-tax-referendum policy. We must live within our means through smart budgeting and transparent financial oversight. While administrative trimming isn't currently required, I am fully prepared to cut central overhead if revenue drops, ensuring we protect frontline teachers, classroom resources, and student services.

To reverse enrollment trends, we must aggressively showcase Goshen’s unique strengths: our Dual Language Immersion, International Baccalaureate, trade pathways, and championship-caliber athletics and fine arts. Protecting these assets keeps families in Goshen and state funding strong.
Parents, students, and community members are the primary stakeholders in our school district, and their voices must directly inform board decisions.

I will ensure our school board operates with absolute transparency, plain-language financial reporting, and open communication. Parents deserve complete curriculum transparency and an active partnership in their children's education. Students need safe, distraction-free classrooms and opportunities to share input on academic, trade, and extracurricular needs. Community taxpayers deserve full accountability, starting with a firm commitment to zero property tax referendums.

I will advocate for public listening sessions, parent feedback surveys on enrollment choices, and advisory panels that bring families, business leaders, and teachers together.
While local school governance must always put purpose over politics, I respect the new state law because it offers voters complete transparency. School board members manage public tax dollars and set policy; voters deserve to know a candidate's underlying values rather than having them hidden behind an artificial non-partisan label.

I chose to list my affiliation as a Republican out of honesty and openness with our community. Declaring a party doesn't mean bringing partisan battles into our schools. To me, leading with conservative principles in K-12 education means strict fiscal stewardship, a zero-property-tax referendum commitment, prioritizing core reading and math fundamentals, respecting parental partnerships, and protecting our rich traditions in trades, athletics, and the arts.
With state property tax reforms tightening revenue, our budget must be guided by clear priorities: protecting the frontline classroom experience first.

What I Support Prioritizing:

Our highest budget priority must be recruiting and retaining top-tier teachers, classroom instructional aides, bus drivers, and support staff. We must also safeguard our core academic instruction, reading specialists, trade/vocational partnerships, and our flagship athletics and fine arts programs that keep students engaged and families enrolled in Goshen.

Areas Prepared for Cuts:

We must live within our means without asking taxpayers for referendums. If revenue decreases require budget adjustments, we will look first at central administrative overhead, non-essential central office line-items, professional consulting contracts, and software subscriptions.
