We must also address health disparities and ensure every family, regardless of income or ZIP code, has access to quality care. As a working mom, I believe affordable healthcare is essential to helping families thrive.

Families and businesses need dependable electricity at a reasonable cost, while we continue investing in cleaner energy technologies and modern infrastructure. I will support solutions that protect reliability, create jobs, encourage innovation, and move Illinois toward a cleaner energy future.
We need responsible rules that protect taxpayers and consumers while also ensuring all projects are completed using union labor. I will support policies that ensure large technology and AI companies pay their fair share for the electricity and infrastructure they require rather than shifting those costs onto Illinois families. I also believe we must protect the reliability of our power grid, plan responsibly for growing energy demand, and safeguard local communities. Additionally, as AI continues to evolve, we should hold technology companies accountable, require transparency around serious risks, and put common-sense protections in place to keep children safe.
Illinois needs to stand up to federal efforts to make voting more difficult by continuing to expand opportunities for eligible voters to participate through early voting and vote-by-mail. I believe voters should have confidence that elections are transparent, secure, and accurately administered. Our democracy is strongest when participation is encouraged and every lawful vote is counted.
